Here, “title” includes paper title, hierarchical title, figure title and table title.

The paper title is the general outline of the paper, and is the logical combination of the most appropriate and concise words that can reflect the most important specific content of the paper.

  (1) Accurate and appropriate. The paper title should be consistent with the content and theme of the paper, as well as the scope and depth of the research. The problems of big and small title s should be avoided.

  (2) Short and concise. The title “generally should not exceed 20 words”. On the premise of ensuring that the “most important specific content” can be accurately reflected, the fewer the title, the better.

  (3) Easy to retrieve. The words used in the paper title must help to select the key words. There must be key words reflecting the content of the paper in the title, and more key words are better.
