Petroleum Geology and Oilfield Development in Daqing mainly publishes the innovative, practical and advanced high-level scientific and technological papers focusing on oil and gas exploration and oilfield development. This journal is published on 1st bimonthly.
This journal follows a workflow of editor's preliminary review, peer review and editor-in-chief's final review. The manuscript review is generally finished within two months. The authors should read the following attentions:
1.Paper major
This journal covers the major of oil and gas exploration and development. We do not have right to publish the papers beyond this professional scope.
2.Paper theme
The them of the paper should be appropriate: too large theme is not easy to illustrate clearly and the key point is not easy to highlight, while too small them has limited influence.
3.Publishing cycle
The average publishing cycle is about 9 months.
4.Manuscript acceptance principle
(1)The original innovative papers of petroleum geology and oilfield development are preferentially accepted.
(2)The output papers of provincial and ministerial fund projects are preferentially accepted.
5.Basic guidelines
(1)Title: Concise and informative, generally less than 20 characters.
(2)Abstracts: Quantitative and qualitative information should be provided as much as possible, which should be written in four parts: purpose, method, result and conclusion, about 300 characters.
(3)Introduction: Analysis of research status should be paid attention(contribute to the innovative evaluation of the paper).
(4)Figures: The number of figures should be appropriate and not too many. It is more appropriate to attach one figure for 2000 characters. The journal requires the author to provide vector graph drawn by software such as CorelDRAW. The contents of the figures can be edited instead of inserting pictures.
(5)References: Each article should have more than 15 references, and the references shall be cited in sequential coding system in accordance with GB 7714-2015 Information and documentation—Rules for bibliographic references and citations to information resources.
(6)The corresponding English should be provided for the paper title, author's name and organization, abstract, key words, figure title and table title. Chinese references should have corresponding English, and the English version should copy the original rather than translate.
6.Other items
(1)The contribution is required to be original of the author, with 10000~15000 characters. The content of the paper should comply with the confidentiality provisions of the authors organization. Please do not contribute the same manuscript to other journals. The author should take the responsibility of all copyright infringement of plagiarizing other people's works and quoting other people's achievements. The first step in reviewing manuscripts of this journal is academic misconduct detection. Manuscripts with a similarity ratio of more than 20% will be rejected directly.
(2)The manuscript that can be accepted after review shall be confirmed by the author. Only after confirmation as required can the manuscript be formally accepted.
(3)The author's publication confirmation shall be carried out for the scheduled edited manuscript, and the publication should be arranged only after the author agrees and confirms the edited content.
(4)The author should update his communication information changes in time. This information is required for sending the sample issue, mailing invoice and mailing contribution fee.
